The 1920’s brought flappers with bobs and short hair but those are far from the trends of the spring runways this year. Whether the hair is pulled back in to a bun or let down in loose waves all of the styles have a lot of length.

For women with dry and frizzy hair waves are perfect. Hair should have texture, and frizz is the perfect way to achieve that. When hair is wavy it needs to have this texture, otherwise it would just fall flat. Someone without frizzy hair can also achieve perfect waves by using certain hair products.

Up do’s are not just for high school prom. A messy bun tied off with a ribbon can be used for multiple occasions. The bun can be a cute but quick way to get your hair up and out of the way; it can also be worn to a big event, just like many actresses who appeared in the red carpet for the Oscars.

Long hair can work for any one when it is styled to fit their other features. Waves and buns are not the only ways to wear long hair. There are so many different ways it is impossible to list them all, but when you find a select few that complement your other features everyone will be talking about you and your amazing hair.

Even though short hair is not appearing on the run ways this spring, it is far from out of fashion. Shorter hair is more suitable for those with oval faces. However, short hair can be very flattering on anyone if styled correctly. For those with longer faces the short hair cut short create an illusion of width. For women with rounder faces, hair should be styled an inch or two below the chin. This elongates the face and stops hair from looking like a helmet that is permanently on your head.

There are many different ways for short hair to be worn once it is cut. If a woman has hair that is very layered then she should take advantage of this. Layers can give hair a lot of volume and create a very sexy look. Waves may look good for women with long hair but they can also look amazing on women with short hair. For those who do not have many layers in their short hair waves can be a perfect option.
